My Mayor Bear Home Page

Allow me to introduce myself, I am the Mayor Bear Badge and I have been helping the Mayors' and Mayoresses' up and down the country on their civic duties.

My life began in Chesterfield Borough Council in 2007 when my creator "Lin Debanham" member services for Chesterfield Council thought it would be a great idea to create a lapel pin featuring me the Mayor Bear.

My friend Lin contacted the House of Logos in Sheffield who already made lapel pins of the council crest and they made me into a lapel pin.

I have been used in all sorts of ways to assist the Mayor in his civic duties,
from Garden parties to Twin Town visits.

Visitors to the Mayors' parlour receive a lapel pin as a keepsake.

The Mayors' chosen charity has also benefited as I have been sold to the general public to raise money for the charity.

Where's Tha Bin page has been created so that councils who use me on their civic duties can send in pictures and details of where I have been on my travels or which functions I have attended.
